Deeply rooted in mud yet producing blossoms of fleeting and exquisite beauty, the lotus is a metaphor for hope and compassion.

Photographing lotus is both my daily tool for mediation and an artistic challenge. I’m inspired by the natural play of light and form within the pond where unseen moments and moods of the lotus’ life cycle are revealed.

My wish is that these images inspire you to take a moment to pause and reflect on your own journey.
